With COVID-19 social distancing and 'stay at home' directives, one can easily feel isolated, anxious, and in desperate need of a relaxing activity and some social contact. The Wayne State School of Social Work and Caitlin Brown, invite you to take part in this FREE community Yoga and Meditation Series held weekly on Thursdays from 12:00 - 12:45 pm in April, specifically April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30. Caitlin Brown, Wayne State Social Work part-time faculty member, yoga instructor and Mindful Detroit founder, will lead participants in gentle, seated yoga (that can easily be done in a chair). No mat is required and all movements will be simple and beginner-friendly. Meditation activities will also be included.
Although this is hosted by the WSU School of Social Work, it is open to all!
